What's visible on the dial and how is the information read?

The gray LCD screen in a black frame displays several parameters at once: hours, minutes, seconds, day of the week, date, AM/PM indicator, active alarm and chronograph icons. The inscriptions "ALARM", "CHRONOGRAPH" and "WATER 50M RESIST" are applied directly to the case - it's immediately clear what the watch can do without reading the instructions. The "50M" markings and hands are executed in orange color, which makes them stand out against the olive background. The ILLUMINATOR electroluminescent backlight is activated by a single button and allows you to read the time in the dark.

How does the W-217H-3A differ from similar budget Casio models?

First, the color solution: olive khaki is much rarer than the standard black or gray in the W-217H line. Second, the package contents: the watch comes in an official black metal box with the "CASIO" inscription - this is not a cardboard box, but a full-fledged storage case.
