The jacket is suitable for long hiking routes, urban patrols, tactical exercises, and any outdoor activity where conditions are unstable. The anatomical cut doesn't restrict shoulders when working with gear, and the fleece lining provides sufficient insulation in cool weather without extra bulk. Ventilated material inserts on the sides regulate heat exchange during intense activity - you won't overheat while moving.

Material and protective properties

Outer fabric - Rip-Stop with moisture-repellent coating. Water resistance - 5000 mm water column, breathability - 6340 g/m2/24 hours. The photo clearly shows the dense smooth texture with the characteristic light sheen typical of nylon - the material doesn't wrinkle and holds its shape. The soft fitted collar doesn't press on the neck during extended wear.

Functionality that's immediately noticeable

The hood is hidden in the stand-up collar: when not needed - it's invisible and unfelt, but you can pull it out in the rain in seconds. The jacket has 8 pockets:

• Sleeve pockets with zippers - one on each sleeve, with pull tabs for opening with gloves
• Left chest pocket - with zipper, compact, for small gear
• Side pockets - at waist level, also with zippers
• Velcro panel on the left sleeve - for patches and identification insignia

Wide cuffs with a thumb hole secure the sleeve and prevent wind from getting inside - a detail appreciated after the first cold outing.

What makes this windbreaker different from regular outerwear

Most lightweight jackets either breathe or protect from moisture - rarely both parameters at an acceptable level. UAF PRO Carrier combines breathability over 6000 g/m2/24 hours with water resistance of 5000 mm. Add to this a fleece lining, hood in the collar, side ventilation, and a full pocket system - all in a jacket weighing 400 g.
