Tactical Winter Suit Hirka Pixel Insulated with 200 Synthetic and Fleece Layer
When temperatures drop and tasks don't get cancelled, the Hirka winter tactical suit in pixel camouflage (MM-14) becomes work clothing, not just insulation. A two-layer construction - 200 synthetic insulation plus fleece - retains heat even during prolonged exposure to the open air, and the outer rip-stop fabric prevents moisture and wind from getting inside.
The loose cut of the jacket and pants doesn't restrict movement when bending, squatting, or climbing a slope. At the same time, the suit doesn't "breathe" cold: elastic cuffs on the sleeves and under the knees, drawstring tightening at the bottom of the jacket in two sizes block the way for wind and dust. The bottom of the pants also has elastic, allowing them to be tucked into boots - this is exactly how the suit looks in the photo.
The jacket has two large patch pockets on the chest with flaps, an additional patch pocket on the left sleeve. Fasteners are tractor zippers and velcro. The hood with a standing collar covers the throat and actually protects from precipitation, rather than just being a decorative element. The absence of brand names and logos corresponds to the tactical purpose.
Most budget winter suits have either a single layer of insulation or an outer fabric without water-repellent coating. Here both solutions are combined at once: 200 synthetic insulation as the main insulation and fleece as an additional layer that doesn't stick together and doesn't clump up. Rip-stop with reinforced thread withstands mechanical stress - scratches from branches, friction from equipment - without pilling and tearing, which is critical for prolonged field use.
