Application: where these glasses are appropriate

Clear protective glasses are suitable for construction and repair work, carpentry, welding (as an auxiliary tool), work with chemical solutions, grinding and cutting. The completely colorless lens does not darken the field of view, making them convenient to use indoors or in low light conditions - where tinted glasses would be inconvenient.

In a tactical context or at a shooting range, this type of glasses with side coverage protects against side fragments and powder gases better than regular sports models with two separate lenses.

Difference: panoramic lens versus separate lenses

Most budget protective glasses have two separate lenses with a bridge in the middle - this leaves a gap in the nose area and narrows the field of view. Here the lens is solid and large-format: no joint, no dead zone, there is full side protection due to shields built directly into the frame. Ventilation ribs on the sides - a practical detail often overlooked in similar entry-level models.
