Military Accessories: Gloves, Belts and Dog Gear
Military accessories are the small things that decide whether you stay comfortable on duty, at the training range, or on a field trip. Gloves protect your hands when handling weapons and tools, a belt holds up your trousers and part of your gear, and dog gear helps you keep control of your dog in any situation. Start your choice with the task: where and for how long you will wear the item, in which season, and with which kit. Pick the color to match your uniform: olive, coyote, black, or Multicam.
The core of tactical accessories is tactical gloves for every season. Full-finger models protect the whole hand and suit shooting, rope work, and working with vehicles. Fingerless gloves leave your fingers free for fine tasks, while flip-finger gloves combine warmth with mobility. Hard knuckle protection absorbs impact better, while soft protection restricts movement less. For summer, choose models with mesh or perforation; for the cold, choose softshell or waterproof gloves with fleece or fur lining. Touchscreen fingertips let you use a smartphone without taking your gloves off.
A tactical belt for your uniform differs from an ordinary one by its dense nylon webbing and a buckle built to take load. A metal Cobra buckle fastens and releases quickly and holds the weight of pouches, a friction buckle lets you adjust the length smoothly, and a plastic side-release buckle is lighter and quieter. For everyday uniform there are also leather officer belts and Sam Browne belts. Before buying, make sure the belt fits through the loops of your trousers.
Dog handlers and dog owners will need tactical dog gear. A shock-absorbing leash dampens sudden pulls and protects both the owner's hand and the dog's neck. A collar with a handle lets you quickly hold the dog at your side. A harness vest with a MOLLE system distributes the load evenly and lets you attach a pouch or a flashlight. Choose a harness by chest girth, not by breed.
How to choose? First determine the season and the task, then the size. Measure gloves by the circumference of your palm and a belt by your waist circumference, allowing for clothing and a chest rig. Tactical gloves should fit snugly, otherwise you will lose finger sensitivity. When putting together accessories for the military for a rotation, take two pairs of gloves: a summer pair and an insulated one. We deliver across Ukraine.
