Construction: two materials with different purposes
The upper part - chest, shoulders and sleeves - is made of smooth dense fabric that holds its shape well and doesn't snag on gear. The lower front is made of perforated material with a fine honeycomb texture, providing additional air circulation in the most loaded area. This division is not decorative, but functional.
Characteristics: what you need to know
- Color: black (solid, without contrast inserts)
- Sleeve: long, with fitted elastic cuffs
- Neckline fastening: 1/4 zip with stand collar
- Sleeve pockets: two - one on each shoulder or forearm - with flaps
- Cut: raglan or combined shoulder area cut
Wearing: under gear and without it
Ubaks is worn tucked into pants - so the shortened back and tight bottom don't bunch under the belt or waistband of body armor. Black color goes with any tactical bottoms: from multicam pants to black cargo. Sleeve pockets allow you to keep small gear at hand without additional pouches.
Difference: combined material instead of single fabric
Most basic ubaks shirts are sewn from a single fabric all around. Here, a perforated insert on the lower front solves a specific problem: this is exactly where the body heats up the most when working in body armor or plate carrier. This is not a stylistic technique - it's a thoughtful design choice.
