The outer fabric does not get wet and is not blown through, so the jacket will handle wind and light rain without an additional outer layer. The hood is not removable - it's always in place when the weather changes suddenly.
A membrane with a rating of 10,000 mm water column provides real protection from moisture, not just water-repellent treatment that disappears after a few washes. Eco-down as insulation retains its shape after compression and does not stick from moisture as critically as natural down. Quilted sections on the torso evenly distribute the filler, preventing it from clumping.
Most tactical jackets are either solid softshell without insulation or fully quilted down jackets. This model combines both approaches: a quilted front provides warmth, elastic side panels and sleeves maintain freedom of movement during physical activity. On the left sleeve there is a velcro panel for patches, which is standard for tactical gear. Pockets are closed with zippers: two side pockets at waist level and one on the left sleeve closer to the shoulder - convenient for small gear or documents at hand. The hood with adjustable drawstrings fits snugly on the head and has a black inner lining.
