Ballistic MICH Helmet UHMWPE, Multicam

What confidence does the MICH PE multicam helmet provide?

The MICH PE multicam ballistic helmet with NIJ IIIA protection level is designed for those who work in environments where the head requires reliable protection and mounted devices must be securely attached. The shell is made of UHMWPE, with a total protective area of 1210 sq.cm.

Who is this helmet for and in what situations?

• For fighters who need night vision device mounting: the dome has a frontal mount for NVD.
• For those working with active headsets: the design accommodates Sordin and Comtac 1/11 mounting.
• For those who need additional equipment: you can install a flashlight and cover, and side picatinny rails plus velcro across the entire dome provide space for tactical gear.

Size L fits head circumference 55-60 cm.

What is known about the material and construction?

The helmet is made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and weighs 1.5 kg. It complies with the state standard DSTU 78-41-004-97 and comes with a certificate. Inside, an impact-absorbing system with multiple cushions of different sizes reduces pressure on the head and allows air circulation. The suspension system is adjustable by dial, so the fit can be customized for individual head shape.

What sets MICH PE apart from similar models?

The main distinction is the combination of compatibilities that typically require separate sourcing: frontal NVD mount, side rails, velcro across the entire dome, and active headset compatibility are all integrated into one helmet. This is complemented by certification and compliance with DSTU 78-41-004-97, while the lighter weight of 1.5 kg compared to many alternatives reduces neck strain during extended wear. The multicam coloring of the shell matches current field uniforms.
