What tabletop size do you need
The size depends on how many people will use the table and whether you will be cooking on it. A compact model is enough for one or two people. For a group, you need a long tabletop that can hold both dishes and a camping stove.

The square Comfort is handy to place between two chairs, while the Universal, according to the manufacturer, is designed for a group of up to six people.
MDF or aluminum: which tabletop is more practical
A solid MDF tabletop is flat and rigid: glasses don't tip over on it, and it is convenient for cutting food and playing board games. At the same time, MDF doesn't like prolonged moisture, so after rain the table should be wiped and dried rather than folded up wet.
A slatted aluminum tabletop, like on the Skif Outdoor Comfort, is not afraid of water and is easy to clean. The downside is the gaps between the slats: small items can fall through, and lightweight dishes sometimes wobble.
Do you need height adjustment
Height adjustment, as on the Skif Outdoor Universal, lets you adapt the table to low camping chairs. A common mistake is buying a table without comparing its height to the height of your chairs: sitting at a table that is too high is uncomfortable. The Skif Outdoor AluTech 90×53 cm and PROFICAMP Traveller 95×55 and 120×55 cm models also had adjustable height, but they are currently out of stock. Before buying, also check the folded dimensions so that the table fits in the trunk along with your other gear.
