Han Wild Uniforms: Tactical Suits and Multicam Sets
Han Wild Uniform in Multicam: How to Choose a Set
The Han Wild uniform is a range of tactical suits and sets in Multicam camouflage (also labeled MTP). They are made for people who wear body armor or a plate carrier, train at a range, or play airsoft. The models differ not in camouflage but in what the set includes: from a simple suit with a UBACS shirt and pants to a three-piece set with a jacket, elbow pads and accessories. So the choice comes down to two questions: what season you will wear it in and what gear you already have.
UBACS Suit or a Set with a Jacket?
The Han Wild suit with a UBACS shirt and pants suits the warm half of the year and wearing under a plate carrier. If you need the uniform for more than one season, look at the three-piece sets: jacket, UBACS shirt and pants. In hot weather you wear the UBACS, and you put the jacket on when it gets cooler, without searching for a separate outer layer in the same camouflage.
The jackets in the sets serve different purposes. The G8 in the set with the G4 UBACS and G2 pants has a fleece lining, and its fabric is stated as 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The M-65 comes both as a jacket and as an extended parka, and a softshell jacket is part of the G2 set with a boonie hat.
Check the set contents by the name: the "M-65 jacket + UBACS" set has no pants, and the "G8 jacket + G3 pants" suit has no UBACS shirt. If you plan to wear the second option under body armor in summer, you will need to buy a UBACS shirt separately.
Knee Pads, Elbow Pads and Accessories: What You Really Need
Almost all sets include pants with built-in knee pads, so you don't need to buy knee protection separately. Some sets also come with elbow pads. They are useful if you shoot from the prone position: the elbows carry your body weight there, and the fabric wears out there first.
A baseball cap, boonie hat, belt or boots in the set are convenient when you are building your gear from scratch and want everything in one camouflage. If you already have a belt and footwear you are used to, there is no point buying them twice: choose the basic suit instead. For a set with boots, confirm the shoe size separately from the clothing size, since the two are unrelated.
Short Sleeves, Color Combinations and Size
For hot weather there are suits with a short-sleeve UBACS shirt, including the Han Wild G3 and G2 cuts. It is easier to endure the heat in it, but the forearms are left exposed to scratches and sun. So for forest, brush and work on your knees, long sleeves are more practical.
In some G2 models, Multicam is combined with coyote or olive. Before ordering, look closely at the photos and check which elements are which color, so the uniform matches your plate carrier and pouches.
Sizes run from S to 4XL. Check the size chart for each item in the set: the jacket is worn over the UBACS shirt, so it needs extra room in the shoulders and chest. If you need a different camouflage or cut, browse all military uniforms in the catalog.
