Call Dragon
Call Dragon: Tactical Jackets for Every Season
For most buyers, Call Dragon means jackets: from an ultralight windbreaker that packs into a pocket to winter models with eco-down insulation and taped seams. They pair with G3 and G4 combat pants with knee pads, Ghost 2.0 UBACS shirts, fleece jackets and winter suits, so a full uniform is easy to match in one camo pattern.
Winter Jacket: Eco-Down, Omni-Heat or G-Loft
Among Call Dragon winter jackets, the 10.0 is built for long hours in freezing weather: eco-down fill, taped seams, a high collar, a roomy hood with a stiffened brim and internal width adjustment. Omni-Heat jackets combine tough ripstop outside, which keeps small cuts from spreading, with a lining whose silver dots reflect body heat back.
The 2.0 Tactics Armor with G-Loft insulation is made of windproof nylon and has velcro panels for patches. The pea coat and parkas are longer than a jacket and cover the hips when you have to stand or sit in one place for a long time.
Spring and Autumn: Teflon Coating or Membrane
With Call Dragon demi-season jackets, look at rain protection first. On the 2.0 with Teflon coating, rain beads up and rolls off, while the insulated 2.0 with a 10,000 mm membrane handles steady rain and wet snow. The nylon L-7 with light insulation is made for windy autumn days when a winter jacket is still too much.
If you want one jacket for several months, consider the Kustom Level 3 parka with a removable liner or the 3.0 with Omni-Heat lining: the first gets lighter once you take the liner out, the second stays warm without extra bulk.
Light Jackets That Take Up No Space
Among windbreakers and light jackets, the ultralight Lava weighs about 160 g and packs down to pocket size, yet blocks wind, light rain and UV. The Lava 5.0 is waterproof, the MIG10 is made of crinkle fabric, and the jackets with stretch panels have thumb loops that keep the sleeve from riding up under gloves, plus a hood tucked into the collar.
The straight cut of the insulated models leaves room for a fleece underneath, so you usually do not need to size up. Check sleeve length instead by stretching your arms forward.
