High shaft approximately to mid-calf and massive relief sole with large tread lugs - that's what immediately catches the eye in this model from BASTION. This is not office footwear and not urban classics: boots are designed for real loads on complex terrain in cold weather.
First of all - for military personnel, territorial defense fighters and people whose work involves prolonged outdoor time in winter. The aggressive tread sole provides grip on slippery and uneven surfaces: wet pavement, waterlogged ground, snowy paths. A loop on the back of the shaft makes it easy to put on even with gloves - a small detail that is actually important in field conditions.
The upper part of the boots is made of smooth material with a glossy surface - looks like leather or dense leather substitute. Along the edge of the shaft, a soft dark lining is visible: similar to fleece or fur, which indicates the winter purpose of the model. Lacing passes through metal eyelets - approximately 8 pairs of black metal rings that don't rattle and maintain fixation along the entire height of the shaft. The sole is completely black, with large tread lugs.
The winter version of BASTION has an insulated lining along the edge of the shaft, which is visible even in photos. This is what distinguishes it from lightweight summer analogs with mesh lining.
