The outer shell is made of nylon Cordura - a dense fabric with a characteristic grainy texture that holds its shape well and is resistant to mechanical damage. The YKK zipper with a dark metal slider opens smoothly and without jamming even when wearing gloves. On the front panel there is a velcro panel (loop side) for attaching patches or additional equipment. On the left side there is a separate small zippered pocket.
