Use Where Other Clothing Fails

The suit is designed for static work in extremely cold conditions: night watch, evacuation in severe frost, operations in arctic climate conditions. Combined with L1, L2, L3, and L5 layers of the ECWCS system, it allows prolonged exposure to frost even in low-mobility conditions. This is not a tourist jacket marked "winter" - this is equipment that meets specific field requirements.

APEX Insulation and Nylon Shell

The outer fabric is nylon with a light gray tint, smooth and slightly glossy, wear-resistant and water-repellent. Inside is APEX insulation, whose fibers do not stick together when wet and regain volume after compression. The jacket compresses to minimal sizes and straightens on its own - without additional effort. Can be washed multiple times: the structure of the filler and thermal insulation characteristics do not degrade.

The pants from this suit are also insulated and quilted, with a waterproof and breathable outer shell. On the knees are visible reinforced patches with a double layer of fabric.

Thoughtful Design of Jacket and Pants

The jacket has several practical solutions that distinguish it from civilian down clothing:

• Hood folds into the collar and is secured with velcro - does not interfere with helmets and headgear.
• Side cargo pockets with zippers and internal drawstrings: adjust the volume of the lower part of the jacket without removing your hands.
• Rubber straps inside pockets for securing keys and small equipment.
• Two large mesh pockets inside the jacket - hold gloves and fleece hat.
• Velcro panels on the chest for ID patches and insignia, plus velcro patch on the left sleeve.
• Reinforced elbows with double layer of fabric.

The pants have side zippers along the entire length of the legs - can be put on over any lower layers without removing footwear. The waistband is elastic with rubber inserts, the bottom of the pants is adjustable with velcro and elastic to prevent drafts.
