Materials: three layers of protection without excess weight

The outer layer combines a three-layer laminated Gore-Tex membrane and a two-layer protective Gore Windstopper 2L material with a density of 30 and 40 denier respectively - these are lightweight yet truly protective fabrics. The lining is made of quick-drying nylon and lightweight mesh. The insulation is hydrophobic goose down 850+ FP, which maintains thermal insulation even in humid conditions.

Construction: removable hood and six external pockets

The silhouette is straight and voluminous, length extends to the hips: enough to not restrict movement in gear. A large hood with black nylon lining is completely removable and adjustable with a drawstring around the perimeter. The central zipper is hidden behind a protective flap, the fasteners are two-way - you can unzip from the bottom and from the top. Extended sleeves with black elastic cuffs have adjustment and ventilation flaps for releasing excess heat under load.

There are ten pockets: six external water-sealed ones (including a vertical chest pocket and a pocket on the left sleeve) and at least four mesh pockets inside. The bottom edge is adjustable by volume - you can tightly seal off cold air access.

Application: tactical use and prolonged exposure to cold

The parka is designed for those who spend not just an hour but the entire day in freezing conditions - in field conditions, during duty or on extended winter outings. The matte surface of the grey color does not create glare, and the silhouette does not interfere with work in layers. Fleece or softshell jackets fit well under the parka - the construction is designed for layering.

Distinction: combining Gore-Tex and 850 FP down in one jacket

Most insulated parkas either have a membrane without serious insulation, or conversely - quality down under nylon without real protection from wind and moisture. Cold WX Parka SVX combines Gore-Tex with a full-fledged down filler of 850+ FP - this is a level found mainly in specialized arctic equipment, not in mass-market winter clothing.
