When temperatures drop below zero and the mission doesn't get cancelled, you need clothing that works in real conditions. AcE Gen.2 Winter Combat from UF PRO is a UBACS shirt built around a synthetic G-Loft 80 g/m² insulator that retains heat even when wet. The upper part is covered with windproof nylon with hydrophobic PU coating, so rain and snow simply don't penetrate.

Material and Fit

• Insulation: G-Loft, density 80 g/m², effective down to -10°C
• Upper part: windproof nylon with hydrophobic PU coating
• Body: merino wool and polyester fibers with antibacterial properties in the armpit area
• Lining: polyester 37.5 - active moisture wicking and thermal regulation

Pockets and Hardware

The shirt has three zippered pockets: two diagonally on the chest and one kangaroo-style pocket on the chest. Each sleeve has a separate zippered pocket and a rectangular velcro panel for patches, flags, or Morale Patches. Under the armpits are openings with dual-sided VISLON zippers for ventilation adjustment. The cuffs are knit, elastic, with drawstrings that keep cold air out. On the back of the collar is an adjustable drawstring for precise neck fitting.

Shoulder and Back Inserts

Soft UF PRO air/pac inserts on the shoulders and back are a detail that is often missing in analogues. They cushion the pressure from a backpack or tactical vest and provide additional insulation from the cold in areas of greatest contact with equipment. This is a noticeable difference during extended wear with full load.

Where to Wear

AcE Gen.2 Winter Combat is designed to be worn under body armor or plate carrier - the extended combat cut and fitted raglan sleeve don't interfere with movement and don't bunch up under protection. Velcro panels on the sleeves allow you to immediately place unit insignia or national flag without additional sewing.
