Grifon Apex tactical pants in multicam ripstop are designed for those who need to carry gear in convenient access and are not afraid that the fabric will tear at the knees or along the seam. Ripstop with its characteristic waffle texture resists cuts and punctures well, and separate knee pad pockets protect the most loaded area.
Thigh pockets are designed for magazines and other tactical gear: front ones close with velcro, rear ones with zippers. On the left leg there is an additional deep inner pocket. Small items can be conveniently arranged in slit side pockets so you don't have to search through everything to find what you need.
Dampers or full knee pads are placed in special pockets on the knees. Additional velcro at the back helps to fix them in place so they don't slip during movement. Such protection is needed when moving low, when jumping from height and when hitting knees against hard objects.
The cut does not restrict movement. The width of the cuffs can be adjusted with velcro to fit your footwear, and the belt with wide loops keeps the strap level even with loaded pockets. The pants fit well with tactical boots, and on top they combine with a ubak or tunic in the same multicam.
The main difference: a combination of ripstop, fleece insulation for cool weather and separate knee pad pockets with additional velcro fastening. This allows you to use one model in both off-season and colder days without looking for separate pants for insulation.
