Vogel membrane boots are designed for those who spend time in open terrain in conditions where moisture is a constant companion. The 100% Waterproof marking on the product photo confirms membrane protection against water penetration - relevant for trekking in rainy weather, crossing wet grass, service or training in field conditions. The size range 41-45 covers the men's range.
The upper part of the boot is made using a combined technique: suede or nubuck is combined with textile inserts like Cordura - this provides ventilation where needed and wear resistance in areas of greatest stress. The toe, heel and side areas are covered with massive rubber overlays with characteristic wavy relief - protection against abrasion from rocks and branches. Mid-cut shaft with a soft cuff secures the ankle without rigid restriction. Lacing goes on metal eyelets and hooks with olive laces - quickly removed and reliably holds throughout the day.
Vogel tactical boots combine specific features that are not found in most sports shoes: membrane waterproofing combined with an aggressive sole tread, protective overlays around the perimeter and a relatively low shaft height that does not restrict mobility.
