Examine the materials and construction
For wear-resistant sneakers, not only the sole matters but also the areas that wear out fastest. The photo shows reinforced inserts on the heel and toe, with stitching around the perimeter. Cordura on the upper has a density of 100 to 1000 den and a melting temperature of 210°C, so the fabric areas handle stress well. Suede adds softness to the upper, and the orthopedic sole and lightweight last are designed for extended wear.
