Windproof and moisture: how the layers work

The outer Gore Windstopper layer blocks wind, while the Gore-Tex membrane lets vapour through, so during movement in cold weather the clothing doesn't accumulate moisture. G-Loft insulation retains heat, while Cordura reinforcement on the knees and inner sides of the trousers protects the fabric in areas of greatest friction: when walking, crawling, getting into transport.

Fit: adjusting to your figure

Adjustable elastic straps and a waist drawstring allow you to fit the trousers to your waist and height. The raised back protects the lower back from cold when bending and sitting for long periods. The footwear fastener prevents snow and dirt from getting inside. The trouser legs have side cargo pockets, and YKK zippers along the full length make it easy to put on over footwear.
