Tactical insulated Grifon Apex Gen 3 pixel pants solve a typical cold season problem: wet fabric that drains heat from the body. Here, water-repellent fabric with ripstop technology is combined with a fleece lining, so the outer layer stops moisture and wind, while the inner layer retains heat.

Operation: pockets, knee pads and belt

The pants are designed for fieldwork and bad weather: they are used by military and law enforcement personnel who have to interact with water. Pixel camouflage in beige-brown tones is suitable for terrain with dry grass, soil, and sand. The waistband has 7 wide belt loops about 5 centimeters wide, so the pants are comfortable to wear with a standard belt. Protective dampeners or knee pads fit into the knee pockets, and additional hook-and-loop fasteners on the back help secure them. This protects the knees during jumps from height and low crawling.

Gear storage: 7 inset pockets and more

For small items, there are 7 inset side pockets on the front and back. Thigh pockets are designed for ammunition magazines and other tactical gear: the front ones close with hook-and-loop fasteners, the back ones with zippers. There is an additional deep inner pocket on the left leg, and one pocket with hook-and-loop fasteners near each cuff.
