Meindl MT6 Winter Trekking Socks with Merino Wool
Meindl MT6 are socks designed for long winter treks, where feet must remain dry and warm regardless of pace. The dual-layer construction combines natural Merino wool with bioceramic polyester - two complementary materials: the first wicks moisture and neutralizes odors, the second helps maintain stable foot temperature during stops and active movement.
MT6 are primarily designed for trekking boots with fixed ankle cuff - the sock height covers the upper edge of the footwear, preventing chafing. The textured knit on the sole adds internal grip, so the sock doesn't slip in the toe area even during descents. The dark khaki green color with gray accents on the heel and toe pairs well with both hiking and everyday winter footwear.
Most trekking socks have a symmetrical cut - MT6 does not. Separate fit for each foot eliminates transverse wrinkles in the arch area, where blisters most often occur during prolonged walking. The second difference is the bioceramic fiber in the composition, which is rarely found in socks of this class and provides soft temperature regulation without additional membrane inserts.
