The suit fabric is Rip-Stop, which has a reinforced thread mesh in its structure, so small damage does not spread across the fabric. Teflon coating is claimed to repel moisture, as well as wind-resistant and waterproof properties. The jacket is made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The UBACS base is made of 100% polyester Coolmax, which wicks moisture away from the body, and the sleeves are made of stronger Rip-Stop.

UBACS is designed to be worn under body armor or load-bearing system: sleeves with pockets and velcro panels remain accessible, and the breathable base does not collect moisture under gear.
