A dual-slider front zipper with wind flap and chin guard is the first thing you notice on this olive jacket. The Carinthia ECIG 4.0 belongs to the fourth generation of the Extreme Cold Insulation Garments series. It was developed for extreme cold: optimized cut, fewer external seams, and specialized materials. The manufacturer claims protection in the temperature range above -30 °C.

Use

This winter tactical jacket is designed for prolonged outdoor work in cold weather: in the field, on field outings, on hikes. The straight cut leaves freedom of movement, and adjusting the hood, collar, cuffs, and waist helps adapt the jacket to temperature and wind. Cordura reinforcement in areas of greatest friction—on shoulders under backpack straps, elbows, and seat—extends the service life. For transport, the jacket can be compressed in the included compression bag.
