The hood is non-detachable, so you do not have to look for a separate hat in the wind. The sleeves are adjusted with hook-and-loop cuffs, and a fold-back hand guard shields the hand from the wind.

The jacket has 10 functional pockets, on the chest and sides, so documents, communications and small gear are always at hand. The sleeve has an ID panel for patches and identification. The main zipper and the pocket zippers are Japanese YKK, which do not jam in the cold.

Outer material: Rip-Stop, 35% cotton and 65% polyester. The special weave with reinforcing threads keeps small cuts and punctures from spreading across the fabric. The elbows are reinforced with double Rip-Stop material, exactly where fabric wears out fastest. Lining: 100% polyester.
