Winter jacket pixel: what models are available

This section features insulated jackets, bush jackets and parkas in pixel MM-14 camouflage. This pattern is used in ZSU uniforms. Prices from 700 to 4 030 UAH. Models differ in top fabric, insulation and cut, so first determine the conditions in which you'll wear the jacket.

Types of models

  • Winter bush jacket pixel has a classic elongated cut. There are options with cotton top, side pockets and fur lining, including removable versions.
  • Parka is a longer model made of ripstop with Omni-Heat insulation inside.
  • Soft Shell with insulation: a lighter warm waterproof jacket, often with a hood.
  • Reinforced jackets made of CORDURA 1000D fabric are designed for intensive friction and heavy wear.

What to pay attention to when choosing

Insulation. Most models use reflective Omni-Heat lining, and some combine it with synthetic padding. The temperature range is not specified for all jackets, so check it in the description of the specific product. For example, one of the models is designed for frost down to -30 °C.

Top fabric. Ripstop is resistant to tearing, Soft Shell protects from wind and moisture, and cotton breathes but dries slower. Some military winter jackets MM-14 have water-repellent inserts on the elbows and back.

Hood and fastener. There are models with and without a hood. The main fastener is a zipper, some versions have a double lock: so you can unzip the jacket from the bottom when sitting in a vehicle or at the wheel.

Size. An insulated pixel jacket is usually worn over fleece or thermal underwear, so choose a size with room for these layers and compare the measurements with the manufacturer's size chart.
