A two-way central zipper with a wind and moisture flap is the first thing that sets this Austrian-made Carinthia sleeping bag apart. The Defence 4 model has a cocoon shape: a tapered upper section for the head and a trapezoidal section for the legs, leaving room for movement. As a winter sleeping bag for moderate and cold climates, it is designed for military personnel, hunters, and tourists camping in the open air.

Use

The sleeping bag is suitable for camping, mountain hiking, and sleeping in field conditions. For very low temperatures, it can be combined with the Tropen sleeping bag: together they form a sleeping system for extreme cold. When folded, the bag takes up little space, making it convenient to take on a hike.
