Mummy Sleeping Bag Carinthia Defence 4, Olive

Carinthia Defence 4 sleeping bag: warmth on a wet and cold night

When the night in the field or forest brings damp cold that penetrates through the tent, an ordinary sleeping bag quickly fails. The Carinthia Defence 4 sleeping bag in olive color is made for such conditions: it's a military sleeping bag from an Austrian brand with G-Loft insulation that maintains thermal insulation even in damp conditions.

Choose by scenario

• Tactical training and military operations where gear must withstand moisture and mechanical stress.
• Hikes in cold seasons: comfort limit for women -8.8°C, temperature limit for men -15°C, so this is a sleeping bag down to -15 degrees.
• Expeditions in humid climates and year-round camping.

Look at the materials

The outer shell is made of Shellproof polyamide: a microporous nylon resistant to moisture and damage. According to the manufacturer, G-Loft remains elastic and soft. Thanks to this, the waterproof sleeping bag is not limited to just moisture protection, but also maintains the volume of insulation. Thermoflect technology reflects and retains body heat, and the outer shell does not contact the inner one, which reduces heat loss.

Compare the construction

This is a mummy-style sleeping bag with a trapezoidal expansion in the foot area, where the feet have more room than in a narrow cocoon. The two-way zipper has anti-clogging and protective thermal tape: it covers the zipper area to prevent cold from penetrating through the seam. Size 230×87×60 cm, weight 2000 g. When folded, the bag takes up only 25×38 cm, and a compression bag for carrying and storage is included. For those looking for a tactical sleeping bag, the combination of such weight and compactness is important for a backpack.
