Winter Down Mummy Sleeping Bag Carinthia XP Down 1000, Olive

Carinthia XP Down 1000 Winter Sleeping Bag for Sleeping in Frost

When nighttime temperatures drop to -40°C, a regular tourist sleeping bag won't help: cold penetrates through seams, zippers and the foot area. The Carinthia XP Down 1000 winter cocoon sleeping bag in olive color is designed specifically for such conditions: T-comfort for women and T-limit for men are rated at -40°C.

Use in Severe Frost

The model is suitable for winter hiking, high-altitude expeditions, extended trips in cold weather, and field camping where minimizing backpack weight is important. With a weight of 1800 g and packed dimensions of 25 x 30 cm, the bag takes up little space, and the compression bag included helps compress it for carrying. The olive color is inconspicuous and fits into the category of tactical clothing and equipment.

Pay Attention to the Design

• Type: mummy-shaped sleeping bag (cocoon)
• Insulation: CQ-Down, European snow goose down, 600 cuin compressibility
• H-chambers: down doesn't bunch or shift, heat protection is even
• Outer and inner layers: lightweight polyamide, resistant to moisture and damage
• Foot zone: trapezoidal cut, more room for legs and better heat retention
• Zipper: two-way with anti-clogging tape, insulation strip along it to prevent drafts
• Hood: profiled, face opening adjustable with drawstrings
• Dimensions: 235 x 87 x 65 cm

Focus on Temperature Indicators

When choosing a sleeping bag, three marks are important: T-max, T-comfort and T-limit. T-max shows the highest temperature at which an average-sized man sleeps without sweating or waking from heat. T-comfort means the lowest temperature for comfortable sleep of an average woman, T-limit - the lowest temperature for sleep of an average man. For this model, T-comfort and T-limit are the same: -40°C.
