Pockets: how many and where?

The jacket features several storage zones. Two zippered chest pockets are positioned in parallel and easily accessible even in gloves. Two large side patch pockets are suitable for equipment, maps or gloves. A zippered pocket on the left sleeve is convenient for small items needed at hand. There are also internal pockets for documents or a phone.

Material and Construction

Duracanvas is 100% cotton with wax impregnation. The material looks dense and matte, doesn't rustle, and breathes well compared to synthetic alternatives. The cotton base also increases resistance to sparks - an important detail when working near open fire. Climashield Apex insulation retains thermal insulation properties even after getting wet, which fundamentally distinguishes it from down fillings. A leather patch with the Helikon-Tex logo on the lower part of the jacket is a characteristic detail of the brand's original products.

Helikon-Tex Yukon is primarily aimed at military personnel and those working in the field during winter: instructors, observers, tactical operators. At the same time, the jacket is also suitable for extended winter hikes, hunting or any outdoor activity where reliable protection from frost, wind and mechanical wear is needed.
