Duracanvas with wax impregnation is not ordinary cotton: the fabric repels moisture, dampens wind and maintains its shape under constant mechanical stress. Inside is Climashield Apex 67 g/m² insulation, which retains heat even when wet – a critical feature in field conditions. The declared operating range is down to -20°C, and this insulation is indeed used in NATO military equipment.
On the chest are two diagonal zippers with mesh lining for quick access. Below are two large patch pockets for gloves, maps or small gear. On the left sleeve is a vertical zippered pocket, on the right is a velcro panel for patches. The central YKK zipper is hidden by a protective flap, with adjustable drawstrings at the bottom of the jacket. MOLLE loops allow attachment of additional pouches.
The jacket is designed for those who need real cold protection in active conditions: field operations, instructor work, long winter hikes, outdoor and tactical tourism.
